and to the world of tango
This website provides information about the music and programs performed by René Casarsa (the music and events).
It also opens a door to those who want to chat and learn about tango (infotango and tango chat)
René’s next engagement will take place in Houston at the Jones Hall in the University of St. Thomas, on Saturday September 16th, 2006 (events.)
The recital is sponsored by Casa Argentina de Houston and University of St. Thomas’ Department of Classic and Modern Languages, and Music Department, and will include well known tango dancers and a violinist (surprise, surprise!)
René’s second audio CD, “This is Tango Vol II”, was released at last year's Borges-Piazzolla concert in St. Thomas (recordings.)
His last recital, “Tango, Borges, Piazzolla, and more…” , sponsored by the Institute of Hispanic Culture (C.C.) and Texas A&M University, took place in February of 2006 at the Warren Theater, Texas A&M, Corpus Christi.
